Glasses and Sunglasses - Spring/Summer 2011

Rounded bug-eyed frames at Marni, tinted U-shaped frames at Fendi, and retro frames at Dsquared2, Missoni, and Prada were just some of the hip sunglasses worn with the killer ensembles during this year's Spring/Summer 2011 runway shows.


Designers include: Giorgio Armani, Dior, Dsquared2, Fendi, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Gucci, Marni, Missoni, Moschino, Pucci, Prada, Nina Ricci and Versace.


Sunglasses this summer run the gamut from geek chic to disco cool, bringing old-school shapes into the 21st century.


Shades hearken back to the 50s and 60s with rounded “Lennon” specs.

SF Optics was invited to a special seminar/trade show event hosted by Luxottica, a leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of premium fashion, luxury and sports eyewear.


Luxottica Group markets and distributes prescription frames, and sunglasses under many labels including Chanel, Prada, Ray-Ban, and Persol.
